Ecomnia er satt sammen av to andre ord. Eco som kommer fra gresk oikos, og betyr hus eller hushold. Omnia kommer fra latin og betyr alt. Vi jobber for husholdet jorda: natur, mennesker og omgivelser, ved å skape steder, samskaping, dialog og nysjerrighet.
